Simply adjust the pivot-point to the desired size, between 1-1/2-inch to 8-3/4-inch, insert the pivot point into the material / mat, hold the thick base of the ratchet handle, and rotate the blade clockwise with firm pressure. The ratchet-action of the handle allows you to cut effortlessly using a “stirring the soup” motion with your hand. This is one of the best rotary cutters for artists.
