If a product is found to be defective, we will work with you to provide a fair resolution. Our warranty also covers issues arising from normal use within the specified warranty period. To learn more about your rights under Australian Consumer Law, visit the ACC website.

Register Your Tool

2+1 year extended warranty

All Mirka power tools have a standard two-year warranty. Get an additional 1 year of warranty free of charge by registering your tool within 30 days of purchase.

Mirka Power Tool Warranty

To keep your tool warranty valid, the tool needs to be used, maintained and operated in compliance with the safety and operating instructions. However, if a problem occurs with your Mirka power tool, caused either by a manufacturing defect of the material or by workmanship, Mirka will repair your power tool free of charge in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions.

NOTE: If the tool is continuously used in industrial applications, the warranty period is one year.

You can register your Mirka power tool via the Register Your Tool button below. The warranty certificates are machine and customer specific, meaning that each tool must be registered separately, and the warranty cannot be transferred to another person or company.

Submitting a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty repair claim, contact your closest Mirka Approved Warranty Repairer (listed below), who will help organise pickup of your tool to then be delivered to them and assessed.

A warranty claim must be submitted within the warranty period and as soon as possible from the point in time when the defect or problem has been detected. Tools returned for warranty repair must be accompanied by a valid purchase receipt or invoice. For repairs during the additional one year warranty period the tool must be accompanied by a valid receipt or invoice and a valid certificate of the extended warranty.

Contact your Mirka Dealer or your local Mirka Customer Support who will help you through the process.

Call the TNT service hotline 13 11 50 to book a collection for the tool to be picked up with TNT Express Account No 30000819, Account Name: Change The Game Consulting Pty Limited

The tool will be picked up and sent to the nearest Mirka Authorised Repair Centre who will assess the tool then repair it under warranty.*

4.

The Authorised Repair Centre will then return the tool to you via TNT.

For repairs not under warranty, the authorised repair centre will inform the customer about the costs involved and get approval before proceeding. All non-warranty repairs attract a labor rate of A$90.00/hour in addition to any spare part costs. In our experience, most repairs can be completed within one hour of labor. Valid as of 21/11/2024.

Mirka Regional Warranty Clauses

  1. All Mirka Power Tools will now have a warranty period of 2 + 1 Years if registered within 30 days from date of invoice.
  2. If a problem occurs with your Mirka power tool, caused either by a manufacturing defect of the material or by workmanship, Mirka will repair your power tool free of charge in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions.
  3. The warranty period for tools used in continuous industrial applications is limited to 1 year. End users are strongly encouraged to specify the intended application when registering the tool. The Mirka service centre reserves the right to assess the nature of use (e.g., continuous and industrial) and will determine the applicable warranty terms based on its evaluation and recommendations.
  4. The battery pack and charger included with the tool purchase are covered by the 2+1  year warranty program. The warranty does not cover parts bought separately. Battery is warranted for 2+1 years or 300 charges from the date of purchase, whichever first occurs.
  5. To keep your tool warranty valid, the tool needs to be used, maintained and operated in compliance with the safety and operating instructions.
  6. Please note warranty does not apply to
    1. Normal wear and tear
    2. Product failure or damages caused by: –
      1. Subsequent modification of the Mirka product
      2. Repairs attempted or made on the Mirka product other than by Mirka
      3. Misuse, abuse or neglect
      4. Careless or unsafe handling
      5. Failure to follow any applicable instructions for the Mirka product
      6. Anything other than defects in material or workmanship
      7. Battery (with more than 300 charges)
